Anthony Ruys

Anthony Ruys was CEO of Heineken from 2002 to 2005 and member of the Board of Directors from 1993 to 2005. Prior to that he held various executive positions at Unilever in the Netherlands, Colombia and Italy.Anthony Ruys holds a number of directorships, including Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schiphol, as well as Supervisory Board member of Janivo, British American Tobacco and ITC. He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Het Rijksmuseum, the Aids Foundation 'Stop Aids Now' and Madurodam. He studied Law at the University of Utrecht and at Harvard Business School in Boston.
