Susanne van Santen

As CFO of SparkOptimus, Susanne has leading international experience in supporting and accomplishing finance transformations. Susanne started her career at EY as financial auditor and later-on as CFO advisory manager. She made the move from EY, where she worked for 13 years, to Beddinghouse where she served as CFO for 2.5 years. At this Dutch market leader in the field of bath and bed textiles, Susanne contributed to the further professionalization of the finance department with a focus on international growth. Susanne received her master's degree in Public Administration at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Subsequently, she obtained her Executive Master in Finance and Control at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
What I find most exciting about my job is that finance as a sparring partner can really contribute to the strategy realization of an organization. Over time, the conventional finance function profile has evolved significantly from merely a compliance role to a larger and more strategic role in building the organization’s growth story for the future. I am looking forward to supporting SparkOptimus in this finance transformation.
